Introduction to the 7-Day Cleansing Fast.
Fasting is as ancient as human civilization itself. Across cultures and religions, the practice of abstaining from food has been a pathway to clarity, renewal, and transformation, both physically, mentally, and spiritually.
From the rigorous fasting tradition of Islam during Ramadan to the disciplined, purifying fasts in Buddhism, to Japan’s Shugendos tradition, with extreme fasting as part of their aesthetic training. Each tradition, in its way, recognizes what modern science is only beginning to confirm, fasting is not just about the absense of food, but, it is about being present.
Fasting Its about strippping away the excess to reveal what is essential. It is about healing, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. My own Journey with food has led me to see food as medicine and , just as importantly, the intintional abstaining from certain food as a means of healing. I have come to understand that fasting is not simply a restriction it is a reset. I invite you to see fasting not as a challenge, but as and opportunity, a space to reset, to heal and to reconnect with the deepest part of yourself.
